My goal for your photo session is to capture the real life milestones that make you and your family unique. For this reason, I offer relaxed sittings in your preferred environment whether it is your home, a neighborhood park or downtown. During a session I prefer to keep the atmosphere relaxed. I encourage you to allow your children to play, have snacks, and take breaks. Kids pick up on their parent’s stress level, and since this can be visible in the pictures, relax and let me sweat the small stuff.
Clothing is up to you but I recommend you wear something that defines your personality and unique sense of style. You don’t all have to wear matching white shirts. Be original and most importantly, be YOU! I recommend having a clothing change or two available, especially for small children “just in case”. Kids look especially adorable in bright, colorful clothes, jackets or hats so if you have them, please bring them with you! Also, if you have handmade items or objects that have special meaning I’ll try very hard to work it into the session.
The sitting fee is due via PayPal within one week of booking or your appointment will be freed up for another client. It includes Heidi’s time on location as well as photographic editing of each photo individually following the shoot. Prints are not included in this fee. Sessions typically last between 1 and 2 hours. Allow at least 2 hours for newborns to accommodate for feedings and diaper changes. The amount of time spent can vary depending on how long it takes to achieve your goals.
Cancellations require 72 hours notice. In case of illness, please reschedule as soon as possible.
All sales are subject to sales tax of 8.25%
All proofs will be professionally edited. Major retouching or enhancement may require an additional fee.
