Christmas is such a wonderful time of year. And the crisp, cold weather we’ve been having has really put me in the Christmas spirit. Here are some of my favorite memories from the past few days in December. I can’t wait for the weekend when we can take the girls to the Budafest parade to see Santa arrive and Sights and Sounds in San Marcos. All the lights and festivities really make this a magical season for children, and adults too!
The girls decorating the Christmas tree. They did a great job! Avery put all the bottom ornaments on, Payton covered the middle and I did the top. Teamwork!
Avery’s first time to see the Polar Express. I need to check listings to see if we can take her to it at the Imax in 3D. I love the way this photo turned out with our white tree in the background and the miniature tree on the counter. I got the white tree at HEB Plus in Kyle for about $30 and it photographs beautifully.
Our tree all lit up. Each ornament has a special memory tied to it with many more to come.
