Last weekend we visited my father-in-law and his family in DFW. Despite some cloudy and muddy weather, we attended a picnic and had a great time. I took along my camera and telephoto lens so that I could snap some pictures without being too intrusive into everyone’s fun. I’m so glad I did!

The grown ups seemed to love the games too. The thing that cracks me up about this next picture…
…is that they were competing with the women, and barely pulled it off. Girl power! 
Most of all, I enjoyed watching my girls share in some bonding time.
And I’m so glad to know they’ll always be there for each other. My big girl has someone who will always look up to her. And my baby girl has someone to look up to. I am blessed.
As for these last two pictures, can you guess which of my girls is a little bit salty and which one is sweet? I’ll give you one guess.
Actually, they are both as sweet as can be.
